At Scotty’s Shine Shop in London, Ontario, we recently had this stunning 2002 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa in the shop suffering from the dreaded “sticky buttons” issue — a common problem in many luxury vehicles from the early 2000s and 2010s.

This problem happens when the premium soft-touch, rubberized coating on interior switches and controls begins to break down from heat, UV rays, skin oils, and humidity. Over time, the surface becomes tacky, gooey, and attracts dust and debris — even leaving residue on your fingers.

Our skilled team carefully removed the degraded coating from the affected components and restored a clean, factory-like finish. The result is a refreshed interior that looks and feels the way it should — elegant, smooth, and ready to enjoy again.
