When Precision Matters – Alcantera Restoration Done Right


This 2016 Ford Mustang GT350 came to us with a steering wheel in rough shape. Years of dirt, body oils, and neglect had matted down the delicate alcantera to the point it looked and felt nothing like it should — dull, sticky, and far from its original luxury feel.


Scotty, our owner, personally took on this project. Using specialized products, gentle agitation, and a methodical approach, every bit of grime was carefully removed without damaging the ultra-sensitive fibres. The result? The alcantera’s plush, velvety texture was restored, its rich appearance returned, and the steering wheel now feels exactly as Ford intended.
