Tesla Transformation: 4 Years Later


At Scotty’s Shine Shop in London, Ontario, we’ve been trusted with preserving the sleek aesthetics of performance vehicles since 1993. One of our long-time clients brought back their 2021 Tesla Model Y Performance, which we originally wrapped in a full Satin Paint Protection Film (PPF) when it was brand new.


After four years on the road, it was time for a refresh!

We removed and replaced the Satin PPF on the hood and front bumper—the areas that take the most abuse from daily driving. The new film brings back that rich, satin sheen while continuing to protect the paint from rock chips, road grime, and environmental wear.


To complete the refresh, we also replaced all exterior emblems with brand new ones for that clean, like-new finish.
